- Soil amendments and fertilizer products may increase yield, but correcting surface water drainage issues WILL increase yield. In addition to directly impacting yield, poorly drained areas delay planting, reduce field efficiency, and increase downtime. With our sophisticated equipment we can complete an accurate, detailed, topographical survey that is the basis for comprehensive design plans. Sometimes a very small amount of dirt needs to be moved to open up a natural drainage path.
Application of Design:
- Some producers just want a map to show where drainage can be improved. Some producers want guidance lines in their display to autosteer a drain path. Some producers want a turn key solution to decrease hassle and increase yield. we have services available that will satisfy all three.
- Construction Easements, Duck Lakes, Terraces, Underground Outlets and more.
- Pipeline easements and other construction projects can reduce or eliminate proper drainage for agricultural production. We can solve that problem. Sometimes complex calculations are needed to determine water capacity, proper grade, dam height, pipe size, etc.. We can handle that too!
